Bourbon Peaches A La Mode
This is a dessert recipe. But I totally understand if you want to eat it for lunch. It's okay...you have permission...that's what we did, so there's precedent. And you should know that I'm officially on TEAM: fruity fresh dessert, and there are two teams here...fruity-fresh and chocolate-for-life. Where do you stand? I need to know.

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED FOR THESE BOOZY PEACHES WITH ICE CREAM?
- Peaches: I used fresh but I think canned or frozen (thawed) would work too.
- Butter: BUTTTAHHHH
- Brown Sugar: I used Swerve Brown Sugar (sugar substitute) but you can go ahead and use real brown sugar if that's your thing.
- Bourbon: Just a little boozy pour. If alcohol is not your thing, it's okay to skip it.
- Vanilla Extract: to give it a deep flavor.
- Cinnamon: adds a warm spice flavor, you can skip it though if it's not something you like.
- Cornstarch + Water: Thickens the sauce.
- Vanilla Ice Cream: optional; but I'm just saying...do that.

HOW TO MAKE THIS EASY PEACH SKILLET WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM

- Start by melting butter in a skillet over medium heat; add sliced peaches and allow to cook until peaches soften; about 3 minutes.
- Stir in bourbon, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch and water, and then pour into peach mixture stirring constantly. The mixture will begin to thicken. Remove from the heat when the liquids are the consistency of gel.
- Serve scooped vanilla ice cream over the top of the skillet or in individual bowls.
THIS GOES GREAT WITH:
- Every single thing...but also;
- Blueberry Biscuits
- 30 Minute Sheet Pan Pesto Chicken
- Moroccan Spiced Stuffed Peppers
- Spicy Mango Sriracha Chicken Nuggets
