Ham and Cheese Croissant Breakfast Casserole

Buttery, flaky croissants wedged with thinly sliced ham and savory Swiss cheese are soaked in dijon and thyme infused egg batter. Everyone will gobble this ham and cheese breakfast casserole as soon as it comes out of the oven.



4 large croissants

4 eggs

1 cup whole milk

2 Tbsp Dijon mustard, whole grain

3/4 tsp salt

1 Tbsp dried Thyme

8oz deli ham

6 oz Swiss cheese (8 slices)


  1. Preheat oven to 325°
  2. Cut croissants into 3-4 sections each
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, thyme, and mustard
  4. Spray a baking dish with non-stick spray and evenly layer croissants in the bottom
  5. Nestle ham and cheese in between croissants
  6. Pour egg mixture evenly over the casserole
  7. Bake covered 20 minutes
  8. Remove cover and bake another 5 minutes
