I am about to change your life right now! While I may be working on losing weight with Noom, I am still committed to not ever eating sugar. There are so many great alternatives out there, there is just no need. Since being diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes for the first time 8 years ago, I have given up cereal, the affect of breakfast cereal on my blood sugar levels is the most awful of all the foods. After I eat it, I have a huge crash and can't control it for the rest of the day. Let me tell you something real quick...most pregnant women have interesting cravings during their pregnancy. All I have ever wanted during my diabetic pregnancies is fruity pebbles. Actually, that's what I want right now too. I wish this Keto low carb cereal from The Cereal School existed when I was pregnant last year. I would have been in heaven.
I bought it here, on their website. Check out was really easy and they offered free shipping, AND it arrived in two days! I obviously chose the Fruity variety but they have so many other flavors and variety packs so you can mix and match.
Other Varieties Of Keto Low Carb Cereal From The Cereal School
I was really nervous to try it because in my Keto desperation for bread, I have bought from other low carb companies. The results were really always awful and they charged like $17.00 for shipping. Bye.
You can't believe my utter shock when I ripped open a bag three minutes after it arrived (I had to hide it from the kids first) and it tasted just like Fruity Pebbles and Kix had a sweet little Keto baby.
I used Almond milk to further lower the sugar and calories, which means this fits right in to my new Noom diet (I lost 10 lbs the first month!). I did notice that if I let the cereal sits too long, the flavor is washed away a little in the milk. So eat it fast, k? That shouldn't be a problem unless you're drooling over it while trying to take pictures.
The bags aren't huge. They are a regular serving of cereal, the way you are supposed to eat it. I could eat 75 but that's my problem, not yours. If you are eating low carb or Keto and you have tried all the techniques...stop now. This is something you just can't make at home. No amount of Keto Granola or Noatmeal is going to satisfy a craving for Fruity Cereal. And no cereal ever is going to keep your blood sugar in control, especially in the morning, especially if you have The Dawn Phenomenon. Except this one.
This post is not intended to diagnose or treat any illness. You alone are responsible for checking your blood sugar to see what foods work for you. This is my opinion and my experience with this product.
