How To Order Thanksgiving Dinner Online?
Are you having a small Thanksgiving this year? We are. It's too risky for us and our families to get together this year and I'm okay with that. Thanksgiving is not my favorite holiday for a number of personal reasons. One of them being that I believe we should live every day being thankful and giving to whoever needs receiving. Thanksgiving food can be made any day of the year and we should be focused on family gatherings as a way of life and not one obligatory day. Anyways, don't hate me for that...you probably just won't catch any roasted turkey recipes here. Also, I don't like turkey, don't double hate me.
Thanksgiving may not feel the same this year without being able to fully gather together with family and friends. So, if you don't feel like cooking a huge meal that's okay too. There are so many places that offer a fully cooked Thanksgiving dinner either for you to pick up locally or have shipped. Here is a short list of my favorite options.
We are choosing Cracker Barrel this year for a couple of reasons.
- It's one of the less expensive options.
- The food IS good!
- We can pick it up locally.
WHOLE FOODS THANKSGIVING DINNER
Family of Four Turkey with blank sides $69.99
Did you know that you can order Thanksgiving dinner from Whole Foods? Whether you just don't want to cook a turkey or you need a turkey and side dishes too, they have it going on. You simply order your Thanksgiving dinner online (no less than 48 hours before pick up) and pick it up. The turkey dinner with sides for a family of 4 is $69.99 and they even offer a Paleo-friendly Thanksgiving dinner!
CRACKER BARREL THANKSGIVING DINNER
Family of four Turkey Breast and 7 sides $77.00

We have ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Cracker Barrel before and it is so great! We are planning on doing this again this year on a small scale. There is some heating involved and some prep work involved. It is all very minimal and definitely saves you time shopping at the grocery store for 1,000 ingredients. Their "Thanksgiving Family Dinner" (reheat option) serves 4-6 and costs around $77.00 for turkey breast and 7 sides. Their website says they need a 24-hour notice.
WILLIAMS-SONOMA THANKSGIVING DINNER
Family of four Stuffed Turkey Breast, two sides, and a pie $179.95
This is a pricier option if you choose to order Thanksgiving dinner, but looks really yummy. If you have a foodie in the family, they will appreciate the menu. There are MANY options. The Martha Stewart Complete Thanksgiving Dinner (whole turkey + 6 sides) is $359.95. The lowest cost option is the Stuffed Turkey Breast Dinner for $179.95. You can also order a la carte sides and turkey options.
OMAHA STEAKS THANKSGIVING DINNER
Family of four 10 lb. turkey and 4 sides $159.99

I love Omaha Steaks. In the past, I have ordered fish from them and it has been exceptional. They offer a few different options if you want to order Thanksgiving dinner online. The option I looked into was "Build Your Own Thanksgiving". You choose the meat and sides that you like. For a 10 lb. turkey and 4 sides, the total was $159.99. BUT WAIT! They currently have a coupon for $25.00 off orders of $159+, if you give them your email.
HARRY AND DAVID THANKSGIVING DINNER
Family of four 10 lb. turkey and 4 sides + NY-style pumpkin cheesecake $215.00
Harry and David are known for their amazing gourmet foods. I am sure that ordering their Thanksgiving Dinner is on par with what you might expect from such a great place. Their Gourmet Turkey Feast will run you, around $215.00, and includes four side dishes and a New York-style pumpkin cheesecake (haaaay).
