Have you ever just eaten a whole large popcorn in like 20 minutes? Handful after handful, can’t stop? I did that with these. Like it was a bowl of popcorn. I couldn’t stop. I even put the plate back in the refrigerator three times. I was even still taking the plate back out at 10pm for the last two nuggets. I think that officially puts these spicy mango sriracha chicken nuggets in addictive status.

These are crispy, panko breaded chicken nuggets that are covered in a sweet spicy mango sauce…and for me, the more spicy the better. Do you love the most spicy sauce ever? Put more sriracha! Do you hate spicy? Put no sriracha…also we can’t be BFF’s if you do that.
How To Make Spicy Mango Sriracha Chicken Nuggets
It starts with a little dip in flour, then egg, then a panko mixture. It goes in the air fryer for just a few minutes. So easy. The spicy mango sriracha sauce happens in a magic bullet (*my favorite*) or a food processor, or blender. You will toss those little nug’s with the sweet/spicy sauce and eat them all without apology.
I use the Power Air Fryer Pro, and it is so worth it. I love that it has three trays instead of a basket. It makes it easier to keep the food separated. It also does rotisserie..and that is pretty exciting.
In the end I sprinkled them with black sesame seeds and drizzled a little more sriracha on top, just to make sure they were too spicy for my husband to eat. Not sorry.
These would be so great with that lemongrass slaw we made with the Thai chicken burger last week. Yes, I think we will do that, all the flavors.Print
These spicy mango sriracha chicken nuggets won’t last long. Serve these with rice or salad for a complete meal.
1 large chicken breast (makes 26 nuggets)
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp dried cilantro
FOR THE SAUCE:
1/4 cup mayonnaise (I used light mayo)
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 fresh mango
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp sriracha + more for drizzling
Cut chicken into 1″ pieces
dredge each piece in flour, then egg, then the panko mixture
Place nuggets in air fryer set at 375° for 12 minutes
FOR THE SAUCE:
Put everything in a magic bullet, food processor, or blender
Process it until very smooth and creamy
PUTTING IT TOGETHER:
Toss chicken nuggets with sauce in a mixing bowl
Garnish with black sesame seeds (optional) and more sriracha
Use as much or a little sriracha as you like. More = more spicy
