How To Make The Best Basic Steak Marinade
Having a few good easy basics up your sleeve is always a good idea, and this is easy. Start by putting all of the ingredients in a mason jar, then shake it up for 5-10 seconds.
I like to marinate steak in a ziploc bag, because it holds the marinade closer to the meat and surrounds it. You still have to flip it over once in awhile but I promise it’s easier than using a plate. Pour the marinade in the plastic bag, and squeeze all the air out; that’s important. Put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour, but overnight is great too. I usually put mine in for about 5 hours. I start it in the morning and by dinner time it’s perfect.
